...and I'm so glad you're here! I am a self taught photographer with a passion to capture all of life's moments, big or small. I am a mom of two (+ dog mom to the best black lab in the world), and a Houston area native for the majority of my life. I am a graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in Industrial Distribution (industrial engineering with an emphasis on supply chain + business) and a 10-year career working for the industry leading oilfield services company before deciding to change course and support our family from home.
Aside from photography, my hobbies include listening to audiobooks, bugging my husband to help me with my next home project, going to Aggie football games, gardening, staying active, trying new restaurants, traveling, and above all, raising confident, kind little humans and being the best mom I can be for them.
Before deciding to start a family, we opted to indulge in a few years of travel. Some of our best memories have been made in the alps of Switzerland, overlooking Lake Louise at 7,800 ft., wine tasting in Tuscany, snorkeling a crater in Hawaii (just 24 hours after a shark attack, might i add), winter skiing year after year, hiking the fjords of Norway, polar plunging into Lake Tahoe, and so much more. My hope is to give our kids the gift of travel and provide them with unique experiences and memories to last a lifetime.
I believe that everything happens for a reason and I'll forever be thankful for the expat opportunity that fell through which kickstarted my love for photography. If you've been with me from the beginning, you're the reason I'm here. You've helped shape everything I am as a photographer to which I could never express my full gratitude.
